A family tradition
The Son Vives Agritourism Hotel is a family estate, acquired by our parents Jeroni and Xisca in 1978. The estate continued on with its agricultural activities over the next 25 years. For the following 7 years it was not used in farming operations.
After much thought, together we decided to start this new project and provide Son Vives with renewed life, thus beginning a new stage in Agrotourism.
Our young family members, Jeroni and Joan, set off on the adventure of restoring its activity by sowing the land and attentively looking after the cows that provide the milk for production of our wonderful cheese.
Reclassified as an Agritourism project 10 years ago, in 2016 and after substantial effort we finally opened, replete with hope, emotion and excitement. As our father and grandfather called it, “the new Son Vives”.
